Ms. Robinson, originally from Bosnia, became a refugee at a young age due to the war and ethnic cleansing in her country of origin. After residing in Croatia for some time, she and her family immigrated to Australia. Years later, after traveling to the United States, she decided to make it her permanent home.

Ms. Robinson attended Old Dominion University earning her Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice. While at Old Dominion University, Ms. Robinson received the department's Outstanding Student in Criminal Justice Award and took part in a comparative criminal justice study abroad program, focusing on criminal justice system in England and the Netherlands.

Influenced by her own experience of war, persecution, and injustice, and driven by her desire to advocate for those in need, Ms. Robinson decided to pursue her law degree. She chose to attend Regent University School of Law where she was awarded academic merit scholarship and earned her law degree. During law school, Ms. Robinson participated in the law clinic child advocacy program and worked on cases involving special education law, family law and child custody disputes, as well as immigration law. She was a recipient of Ronald L. Fick Book Award in Virginia State Civil Pretrial Procedure, an award given to the student achieving the highest grade in that class.

After graduating from law school, Ms. Robinson earned a fellowship to serve as a Housing Attorney at the Community Law Clinic at Regent University School of Law. In this capacity, she committed her time and energy to providing pro bono legal aid to low-income individuals and families. Her primary focus centered on Landlord and Tenant law, particularly emphasizing eviction diversion and homelessness prevention. Ms. Robinson represented clients in and outside the courtroom in landlord and tenant disputes, breach of contracts, and unlawful eviction litigation, including setting aside judgments obtained through fraud, and filing countersuits against large corporate landlords for unlawful eviction practices and misappropriation of rent relief funds during the Covid-19 pandemic. Additionally, Ms. Robinson spearheaded community outreach and education programs, advocating for enhanced access to affordable housing through community engagement, outreach, and education.

Prior to embarking on her law school adventure, Ms. Robinson served as a Paralegal at our office working with individuals and businesses in all areas of immigration law. Her tenure included managing cases across various realms of U.S. Immigration Law, encompassing family-based and employment-based petitions, non-immigrant visas, naturalization, refugee and asylum matters, and other forms of humanitarian relief cases. Before Ms. Robinson returned to our office to continue her legal work as an Attorney, she served as a defense attorney with Kalbaugh, Pfund & Messersmith. Her defense practice spanned various areas, including personal injury, property damage, product liability, premises liability, and breach of contracts.
